Been in a Pedestrian Accident? Now What?

Billings, Bozeman and Great Falls pedestrian accidents lead to questions

There have been numerous car v. pedestrian accidents in Montana in the last couple of weeks.  A Billings woman was hit by a driver when she was crossing a downtown street as reported in the Billings Gazette. Recently a Bozeman pedestrian was struck and killed by while crossing the street as reported in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle.  There were also two students who were struck by an automobile on their way to school in Great Falls.  These accidents highlight the concerns not only with student safety, but with all pedestrians’ safety.  These types of accidents raise a myriad of legal issues.  Was the driver distracted?  Is there insurance coverage for the accident?  Do you have a personal injury claim for this type of negligence?
